Woman phoned asking if I was Miss (my girlfriend s name) I m not the butchest of guys but I don t sound like a woman.... Very heavily accented Indian accent, also appalling sound quality with lots of noise in the background. When I asked who it was from, she mumbled something about PPI at which point I put the phone down.

Not expecting a call from a broadband provider haven t given my number to anyone regarding broadband or phone, this man saying they are EE. Although polite enough, I was polite on BOTH occasions they called, 2.30pm and 19.33. These people rang me on 01782887349 about 6 months after I tried to use them for a quote. The caller could not pronounce my name correctly and I was unable to make out which Insurance Company she represented. She rang off when I used my "old fart" I can t hear you dear, routine. The company was in fact useful in that originally they informed me of "3" YES "3" to blame claims in my name. I now have none and it was a task to get in touch with the CUE Database people, the BBC, journalists and other insurers

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. Called twice today by this number. The Silent Treatment! No sound, no voices. Very Irritating. I did phone KnowHow Service this morning but not at this number. I was told to expect a return call from their Service agent in 2-4 days.

These are a pest but all they can do is ring up or send you a letter if you speak to them admid nothing just answer with you rang me when they ask for details there a debt collecter with no clout they cant come to your property as they are Not high court enforcement officers or agents.

Caller introduced himself as "Lawrence from Microsoft". Cold call asking for a specific person at our company regarding Yahoo and Bing listings and their verification, allegedly. Claimed he would remove our listing on Yahoo/Bing when I said I wasn t interested! What a stupid threat and what an idiot. He eventually admitted he was from infosure. He didn t get what he called for but he certainly got what he deserved!
