When told that we had not had an accident this person very rudely cut the line. On trying to dial this number we were informed that his number does not exist

They lead you to believe that they are calling for feedback on your order. They do not state that this is a sales call regarding extended warranty - which is exactly what they are doing. They make it seem that it is a fee-free service being offered and only mention the cost at the end. They offered me a warranty on 3 appliances for ?200 pounds a year but phrase it as this is only ?1.50 for your appliance. Very dubious sales tactics. I would not be remotely interested.

One person called (speaking in Urdu) on my business phone number and asked for the owner of the business, I said call in the morning, the person asked for the owner's name, I said I can't give you the name, call in the morning. Have had numerous calls from this number but they never leave a message. I only answer the phone to people I know, the answer phone service is there for this reason
SCAM 'I just received a text on my mobile phone saying "NatWest: You sucessully paired a new device. If you do not recognise this visit nat.west.newdev-secure.com to revert the setting." Spelling mistakes were in the original message. This is obviously a scam as I do not have a Nat West account.'.
