Asked me to log into a sight which showed about 6 error messages. Asked me to hold whist I was transferred to someone dealing with my “account”. Then put phone down and switched my lap top off. The number is Birmingham based permanently engaged when you ring back. Be careful!,

SCAM / SPAM Number called me saying a federal case was being mounted against me? I pressed 1 to continue and had a woman with Indian accent on the phone with clearly a cal centre in the background. She asked how she could help me to which I replied, "I don't know, you called me!" Then she hung up on me.
Silent call. No response to "Hello" and they hung up. Getting a lot of these very suspect calls from various numbers lately, almost one a day.

They told me I had won ?5000 cheque for my case against bank for ppi on loan I took out few years ago, I had to pay ?250 ucash cheque to a guy who would come to my house first then I d get ?5000, I got cut off when I tried to ring back cust serv no she gave me ?? :/

This number rang my 84 year old mother and told her that her boiler warranty is about to run out (her boiler is very old and as far as she knows she s never had a warranty on it.) They persuaded her to sign up for a new warranty and she gave her bank card details. I m going to take her to the bank tomorrow to find out how much they took from her card. She has never been sent any warranty paperwork by them. Seems like a scam, almost certainly illegal. Once we know how much they ve withdrawn from her a/c

Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.
An automated call from Scottish gas asking me to phone back with meter readings. nIF such a company exists I an not a customer so l hung up.
