SCAM Indian woman pretending to be BT saying that there were multiple unknown IP addresses connected to our internet. Tried to get me to go into the terminal of my computer and started inserting ridiculous stuff. As soon as I asked BT to email me officially and we take it from there, she went silent and hung up.

He said he was passing me to his manager (diff man) he asked spelling of name, asked for postcode and house number. When I questioned needing house number he said checking because of scams. SCAM - I received a call from this number. On answering, was an automated message saying that two transactions including one from Amazon had been attempted on my card. One for £300 and one for over a thousand pounds. Checking my bank shows no such attempts. This is a brazen attempt at Fraud.

Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!
