The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. SCAM Claimed she was "'Yennifer' from 'Wirgin' media technical department"! Woman had very 'thick' 'Indian'-style accent. She said "oh, oh, oh," when I said I was busy & I would ring Virgin later. She'd done the "How are you this morning?", like a lot of the phone scams do. Nothing was said about security questions! Suspect this was another scam call.

Have received the same message from these scumbags, from same number even though my mobile is registered with TPS. Have reported it to Vodafone VSPAM 87726 and they have logged it as a SPAM sender. That generally means I will not receive any more SPAM from that number (need to be a Vodafone customer to do this).

Yet another fake “I’ve been told you were involved in a car accident that wasn’t your fault” call. The pre-recorded female voice - it is always the same voice so clearly they are the same single outfit - said she was Amelia Grant from “In Drive Expert Advisors”, which is an odd name, and as ever, when automatically transferred to the real human they rang off very quickly when asked questions. Lots of these con merchants around - be careful.
