Keeps calling and when answer call they hang up
This caller pretends to be from BT accounts department offering a refund on your account. When I challenged them and told them that the number is most definitely not BT accounts they hung up. Do not give them any information- hang up immediately

Electronic voice warned me that my TalkTalk internet would be disconected this evening and gave me the option to either press 1 to keep it or 2 to disconnect. Goodness knows what would have happened if I had pressed either number. I logged in to TalkTalk and of course there was no mention of a disconnection.

This number called twice yesterday and once today. Being invited each time to leave a message on my answering machine there were no messages left. On ringing it I (eventually) got a message that the Voice Mail box was full (probably people like myself trying to find out what they were up to). This number called 3 times today someone claiming to be Dave from Windows Technical. We hung up first time then my wife answered and said thank you for your concern and how kind he was for notifying her there was a problem she would take the computer into the shop. Third time I answered and he said my computer ewas at risk as it had been hacked and my life could be in danger. This number rang on 09/03/23. When I answered, the call just ended. This number rang again on 10/03/23. The caller had a South Asian accent, knew my name and enquired about the car accident I'd had. I responded that this would be the car accident I hadn't had and told him to stop wasting my time. There was a fairly insincere 'apology' that he'd been given the incorrect details.
