Scam - claimed to be from Barclay's claiming a suspicious transaction my account (but I don't have one!. Wanted me to connect to a link they provided.
Wanted to access my computer s Event Viewer to tell me that I had thousands of errors & warnings. I strung him along for a while to waste his time and then terminated the call.
I answered and a English lady in what sounded like an office like background noise explained she was calling from the Advisory centre or service. She asked if I was someone by the name of Mrs.Wheeler, which I was not. I politely said no, and I don t know if I was meant to hear the next bit, as she may have thought she had hung up before she said it. SCAM: Obviously a spoofed number- supposedly calling from my local area. An Indian sounding woman announced herself and said she was calling from BT. I don't have my phone line from BT, so I put on a silly voice & asked her if it was nice where she was, or was it raining? She ended the call.

Calls everyday, when you call back it says number not recognised so must be a scam
I got a call from this number asking me to ring them back or a warrant would be issued in my name and I would be arrested shortly. I ignored it as I know I had not committed any offence and recognise its a scam but imagine if it happens to a vulnerable person who suffers from anxiety. They could get sick from worry even though they have not done anything wrong.

Called to say from MBNA and that there was a problem with the account. Indian (asian) voice. Wife was very rude to him. The number that came up was the same as the MBNA help line number with extra 2 added at the end. Called MBNA - very helpful - no they had not contacted us. MBNA say they always text before ringing and only speak to main account holder.
Firm calling TPS registered numbers. No firm of that name in the dialling code area, others elsewhere.

Asian gentleman called saying he is from BT open reach suggesting I have a problem with my internet as they are seeing errors from it. He demanded I install team viewer quick support app on my iPad to takeover my iPad remotely to resolve the issue. Of course I said no and stopped the conversation … clearly a scam as BT would never ask for this …
Phoned me today. I'm not even with BT. Said they were going to disconnect my phone line and to press certain buttons. It must be a scam. Be carefully out there.
