Apparently from the "big 5" energy suppliers, who are doing free energy assessments on your street. They got my postcode wrong then rang off instantly when I said I was taken care of and had an Environmental Science degree!
I m so glad i Googled the number while talking to this lovely lady, yes all fair and well it might a great deal and for a worthy cause but I m already giving to my own choice of charity so was not prepared to risk 79.99 being taken from my account should i miss the cut off point or they take it earlier than stated. SCAM / SPAM It was an automated phone call saying it was HMRC that there was a warrant out for my arrest for tax evasion and I had to press 1 to talk to someone, otherwise I would be arrested immediately. Total scam, Google HMRC automated call and the top result is that it is a confirmed scam and you should end the call immediately.
