They told me I had won ?5000 cheque for my case against bank for ppi on loan I took out few years ago, I had to pay ?250 ucash cheque to a guy who would come to my house first then I d get ?5000, I got cut off when I tried to ring back cust serv no she gave me ?? :/

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. Woman phoned asking if I was Miss (my girlfriend s name) I m not the butchest of guys but I don t sound like a woman.... Very heavily accented Indian accent, also appalling sound quality with lots of noise in the background. When I asked who it was from, she mumbled something about PPI at which point I put the phone down.

Apparently carphone warehouse from someone selling your data to them. Make a point of asking to speak with their legal dept, they won't pass you through but they'll remove you from the calling list pretty quickly.

The caller was "hoping to become one of your suppliers". He politely ended the call when I informed him this company does not accept cold sales calls.
Supposed to be from Sky to say problems with my broadband. Voice from downtown Mumbai!! Wanted to know how many devises were being run. Asked me to log into a sight which showed about 6 error messages. Asked me to hold whist I was transferred to someone dealing with my “account”. Then put phone down and switched my lap top off. The number is Birmingham based permanently engaged when you ring back. Be careful!,
I missed the call, but when I rang back it just played music and went "your call is very important to us", but I hung up as I knew I definitely did not want this call....

These people called concerning PPI. I was foolish enough to reply STOP and it charged my 50 pence. Clearly, this is a scam and these people must be stopped before they de-fraud more users.
