I m so glad i Googled the number while talking to this lovely lady, yes all fair and well it might a great deal and for a worthy cause but I m already giving to my own choice of charity so was not prepared to risk 79.99 being taken from my account should i miss the cut off point or they take it earlier than stated. HMRC SCAM call - now blocked.

Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.

got called today, they said they would make laptop run faster again if i paid ?315!!!! i did give them remote access to the laptop as i didn t know it was a scam till l8r! i am now attempting to gaet rid of stuff on laptop

called my mobile number, no sound at the other end and just hung up......
