Just called again. This time just said internet provider. Had to press one to connect to technician. Put the phone down and reported them to Action Fraud. Also to my internet provider.
The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Guys claiming they are from PM loans and told me I have to pay some cash to get a loan. I was so stupid and did transfer a great deal of cash to get ny personal as it was an emergency situation. I was told my loan will be credited in 10 mins. I realised i was a victim after 2 hours. Raised a complaint . Not sure if I will get my money back . Stay away from this number.

called about a road accident they said I had, I said they were wrong and I have blocked the number on my mobile.
On answering it was totally silent & then automatic voice said goodbye.
Called twice today, 2nd time answered: asked for my partner by name & claimed to be from People's Energy who are our energy supplier and are based in Edinburgh so that matches the area code (0131). My partner wasn't happy to confirm security information for an unsolicited call though and they were happy to end the call requesting we call them.
