Recorded voice of a man claiming to be from HMRC. If I did not press a number to speak to them I would be arrested shortly.

Withheld number. Claimed they could get me a return on assets losses to insolvency. (Dealing in cryptocurrency). Gave this contact number: 02070418018.

Lydia from UK Legal claimed she had my details from the road traffic accident database and that I had been in an RTA on 28/02/2014. She supplied her number for return calls as 0800 743 872 but called from the number stated above.

These are both premium-rate, non-geographic numbers, and if they have called you, probably spoofed anyway - they tend to be used for TV/radio phone-in competitions.

As mentioned - it s kwikfit calling with regards to a policy you have with them so not spam call. For a change!

He then said he would put me on with his highly accredited colleague who then asked me to install an app called Anydesk so that he could screen share charts with me. Received unsolicited calls from 0114 319 0673 even though I m signed up to the telephone preference service. Looks like they are faking their outgoing number which means they must be scammers. Don t bother answering or calling back.
