SCAM called offering for my business to be featured in a publication which will highlighting legitimate local businesses and rogue traders (hopefully I fall into the former). Asked if I'd like to be featured as their "(my profession) of the year" for a fee, when I questioned it they hung up. Initially claimed to be from a crime monitoring unit, which was odd since they called from a mobile number.

Didn’t ring it, don’t know anyone in Vietnam and it cost me £5.99! Total scam

I requested withdrawal of my money and small part Got back to Me but over 1.3k was declined at first , then promised via WhatsApp and email that it will take up to2 or 3 weeks it was in the end of May ! Text message received from Sants fraud asking me if I had made a pmt of 33458.64 to a Ali Afza? if not to call fraud on the number and not to reply by text. Luckily I worked for Santander so knew it was a scam but it is very convincing.

Suspecting fake supplier. We contacted him through a vacation rentals' booking platform to book a villa on the 5th of February in order to book for the 10th. On the 6th he writes to us: "Hello, unfortunately we can't accommodate you because the villa was double booked." This is so unfair! The availability back then allowed to book the property with no problems. He hasn't even refunded us the money. We suspect a scam owner.
