received the same message as the other people posting here, asking to call 0844 571 5190 and quote exactly the same reference number: 778660. Since we all know that this is a big scam designed to rip off unsuspecting people, I fail to see why the police cant shut these people down - or better still why they cant administer a ?500.00 fine to the number, which they would have to pay to their service provider.
Complete s**mbags and an utter nuisance. Selling solar panels and won't take no for an answer.

Once you get a call like this from one scammy nob-head company, they keep calling with new numbers in the hope that you react and call them back. Don't answer, Don't call back. Its usually a premuim rate scam that either has some kind of fax machine tone, or someone claiming to be someone they're not trying to keep you on the line for as long as possible whilst running up your phone bill

On ringing it I (eventually) got a message that the Voice Mail box was full (probably people like myself trying to find out what they were up to). Male called and said I owed money on a NEWDAY credit card linked to my amazon account. I had taken the offer of getting a card via getting a 20% discount on an item but never activated the card. He reeled of items purchased for certain dates. Funny enough, all those payments had already come out of my own Visa card not theirs. Also, the only card visible for payments on my amazon account is my own. And the call was promptly ended.... BE AWARE AND DO NOT GET ROPED IN!!!

If you dial 02396, you get unobtainable after the first five figures. I suspect a foreign concealed number that you can't ring back to investigate.
