Silent call. Enough time for me to say "Hello" twice with a pause in between, then a buzz followed by disconnect. Sounds suspiciously like an auto dialler not connecting through to the operator at the other end, or a spoofed high cost return call scam. Either of these are not good!
Automated call. No reponse. Just hangs up after a few seconds. It may be fishing for info. Beware!!

SCAM - Claimed to be Vodafone and Carphone Warehouse claiming to offer deals unavailable online for new iPhone contracts. Hung up when I asked to call back, checked with Carphone Warehouse directly and they confirmed it was a scam.
Called yesterday (12 Nov) at 18:46 and drivelled on about the PPI you were sold. Obviously a bunch of spivs as I don t do PPI as I don t take out loans or use credit cards. Attempted to make a complaint to the TPS and their website says "noting to do with us try the information commissioner". Who is paying for the TPS and why? They seem to be a waste of space.
Calls about unsecured debts. Uses a serious tone. Told them not to call again. They hung up.

Fraud - claim to be from HMRC and that there is a warrant for your arrest due to tax fraud. They might have some of your details so it seems real. Beware it's a scam. They said if you hang up the call, they will tell the courts you tried to run away from arrest, then they will fine you larger amounts. They tell you to stay on the line until they can get this sorted for you out of court and they're only trying to help you. They use multiple number including a cloned HMRC number. Avoid and block.
