SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities. Tried to sell me broadband at 40% below my cost price despite not knowing how much I pay. I mentioned on being on the TPS but he said so what . Since Talk Talk had there accounts hacked I get these types of calls each week despite having left them. Total scam.
Received a call from this number with an electronic voice recording claiming that our BT line was to be disconnected. We are NOT with BT! . This is a scam and a fraud. It was also at 8:30 in the morning when not everyone would be up. I do note that googling this number does seem to produce a former genuine use for it, but i double-checked the number. This was a scammer., There is no question about it.
SCAM. Got a call from this number saying it was from hmrc and asked me to follow the instructions. If i hung up then i would be made to pay a penalty fine. I hung up straight away hoping for a penalty fine. Really intimidating.

SCAM / SPAM 0203 468 5940 is more than likely a scammer . Male with Scottish Accent phoned asking if I had enquired about an Isa. I have not spoken or electronically enquired about an Isa in years. So a cold caller which I had thought was now illegal. Bad vibes. Don't divulge any details. He was pleasant enough but that in itself is a trick of the trade, and he as all scammers are thinking about there next bite. BEWARE.

Scam line. Calls are made from outside of the UK (Gold Coast), trying to get recipients to visit a scam website. The caller gets the recipient to perform some tasks on their PC, claiming that it is infected. If you ask for their number, they provide this one. If you call them back you are diverted to the caller in the Gold Coast. Do not call. Do not respond. Report this to the police.

I received a call from this number with an automated message saying that this was regarding some important information about my account. They didn t even specify what kind of account nor did they ever identify the company they were calling from. Seems to me like they want to get people to react out of panic because of the word "account". I didn t return any calls or anything, so they kept pestering me and now they are blocked. The only thing I really want to know at this point is how these people get privat
