If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. Called today and ulikely to originate from the UK based on the poor line. The person kept using my first name (i.e., Mr A***). She told me she was calling about an accident I d had for which I wasn t at fault. I asked her if that was in the BMW and she said "Yes I think so"...I don t drive a BMW and have never owned one! Hi guys.. We all keep getting these calls!! I know its annoying, illegal, upsetting, etc.. I get probably 5-10 on a daily basis, ranging from PPi, boilers, hearing aids, accidents and many more! When you tell them ur not interested, this is the worst thing you can do, because they WILL NEVER DELETE YOUR NUMBER!! They gets commissions just for contacting you!! So this is what I do now.... Accept the calls, and give them false details of ur name and address and mention u have changed ur phone number. (M

This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue. Looks like these are the people we should really be shutting down. A quick Googke shows that they re based in Newark.

Automated call from telemarketer telling me I was entitled to a "tax refund". To talk to someone press 5, to unsubscribe press 9. On pressing 9 I was told to register with TPS! I already am!

Fake number anyway. London numbers don t start with a 9 after the city code of 020.
