Caller claimed to be working with BT to save us money on our BT bill. She was obviously lying as we don t use BT. Became aggressive when I refused to say who we did buy telephone service from. I suspect it s some type of scam.

Answered the phone . Heard background noises so hit call blocker button.Don t know how but it then rang on our extension phone. I ran downstairs and again no response. I hit the call blocker unit and successful came up. I am also on TPS scheme but the call blocker has been a Godsend as this is the only call that got through this month so recommend Call blockers which block International, 200 built in known blocks and all with held numbers.What a nuisance these people are.

The man on the other end said that I d answered a survey two days ago saying that I would consider changing my gas supplier, which is baloney! I asked them to call back later when they can deal with my wife!

Extremely annoying organisation, I receive several calls a day from this number, I have asked on several occaisions to be removed from their calling list but they continue to call. It will result in some very choice words to the next person that calls me.

Spoke to my father, said she was from a company that blocks his nuisance calls. He has no such service? (Is there even one other than BT called protect?) I suspect she was a scammer as we have had similar spiels from callers in the past one of which was desperately trying to get Dad to "confirm" his bank details.

My phone displayed "Swansea" - Since I don t know anyone from here, apart from DVLA - I did not answer it because the only company from Swansea that I know is the DVLA, plus it came up on my mobile number which is registered with TPA.

Just had a call from this number asking for Mrs my name I said no it s Miss. She said just a quick call today, she was Jenny calling from National Institute for the Blind...and I put the phone down. Agree with Sue no problem with them as such, but the fact I hadn t asked for contact from them.

it came up as an international number but appears to be from Lochgilphead in Scotland. I did not speak and the line went dead.

Annoying! Foreign people on the phone that can t even pronounce my name correctly. When I ask what they want the hang up so don t get the chance to ask them to remove me from their database. Block every number that calls me.

They ring at least 3 times a day regarding ppi. Pressing 5 DOES NOT remove you from their list. Nor does pressing 9 and speaking to the knobber who answers because as soon as you try to explain that you don t want them to keep calling they hang up on you. Reporting them now every single time they harrass me.

Someone claiming to be from O2 but I don t believe him because he acted like a weirdo -asking me if I was over 18, and when I said I don t have the time to talk to you, he said - so you re under 18 then, and hung up on me. Perhaps they are scouting for 18 year olds? (Weird) Perhaps they are mad. Perhaps they are scammers. But they are definitely not polite or professional so I doubt O2 would have such representatives. Number blocked.

Had a recorded message from this phone number to say that my broadband will be disconected as its compromised. Was told to ring them back but I did not bother.

It would seem that there are that many scam numbers that the good ones unfortunately are getting tarred with the same brush. Lovely peoplewho helped me sort out compensation for industrial deafness.
