Called twice today, 2nd time answered: asked for my partner by name & claimed to be from People's Energy who are our energy supplier and are based in Edinburgh so that matches the area code (0131). My partner wasn't happy to confirm security information for an unsolicited call though and they were happy to end the call requesting we call them. My mother had a text from this number stating that their had been fraudulent activity, she had apparently spent ?40,00 in Argos this morning which she hadn t. Someone rang from that number claiming to be from Natwest but my mum was sceptical so she rung off and called me. I looked up a real number for Natwest (0800 011 3312) which she rang. I said "yes, I had lots of accidents. which one specifically are you referring to? Which date? Which car?" He could not give me the details. I told him it was strange that he had my name and phone number but no details of my accident. I suggested that his records were in fact just a telephone directory. He hung up.

this number called me I did not get to the phone in time to answer answerphone switched on but no message left.

Just called again. This time just said internet provider. Had to press one to connect to technician. Put the phone down and reported them to Action Fraud. Also to my internet provider.

Received a call from this number tonight Nd on 2 other occasions in the last week. The man told me I was due an upgrade on my O2 mobile - he said he was calling from O2 but knew nothing about my phone and started asking about my bill payments to which I said you should know this information if you re calling from O2 at this point he got agitated and said he was trying to do me a favour, that I was being argumentative and unhelpful - I reminded him that he d actually called me and that I was not interested

A man with a foreign sounding voice but very english name called.Told me he was from microsoft.Have had these calls from another number (01225766466) but the difference being that this one had our name.He could not pronounce it but was able to spell it when i asked, strange because it is simple name and only 5 letters.When i asked how he got the name he hung up.I believe its the same people as the other number.I had such a shouting match with them on the phone last week,i think they have changed tactics !

These people keep calling my Mother who is in her eighties. It is so annoying as she is frail & frightened but they will not give up, she now does not answer the phone unless she recognises the number.
