I tried to call the number they picked up the phone and then I was cut off. I could hear someone in the background. I then received another message saying the "microphone doesn't work he is getting it fixed on Thursday". Called from a very busy call centre, couldn't really hear them... when I explained that this was the case they immediately hung up. Pathetic.
They told me they were from Sky, our provider, and that there had been issues for the past 2 days which they were going to sort over the phone. I hung up and surprisingly he didn’t ring back!! This is a scam number pretending to be Amazon UK. They pretended that i had mistakenly signed up for 'their' yearly subscription and stated i they were due to take 79.99 out of my account today if i did not cancel immediately. They stated that they could sort this out online and that I may be due a refund. I asked them to call back and contacted Amazon service desk who explained that they had never called me and that i was still subscribed on monthly terms. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR DETAILS.

Very insistent woman claiming that I am due a payment because a 3rd party has admitted fault in a car accident in the past 12 months and I am due my excess back.
