Had a message that Emma from Yahoo wanted to contact me regarding a Live account I had with them.
SCAM 01737 219625 - claim to be BT Open Reach calling about your slow broadband speed and wanting to do a free check. It is a complete scam, when I said it was a business line, the cold caller put the phone down.

I received a call from the number: 01274792327. They have said my computer is slow and needs to have software updated and will cost me ?250.00 The caller was acting to be windows when they was not. They was giving false names. I did not give any bank card details or any payment because this is a SCAM. Do not give any bank details, computer serial number, etc. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION OR THE INSTRUCTIONS OF CONNECTING YOUR SCREEN WITH THEIRS AS THEY WILL HACK YOU.

SCAM Financial investment company that they claim I had asked to be contacted by. However they do not know my actual given name nor do they know my full name. I asked if instead of using the random name I publicly go by if they could confirm my full name and other details but could not. I’ve had several of these “investment companies” calling and fishing for details recently. All have the same “spiel” and follow the same script to their calls, with only the company name having any variations.
Called me twice this week, the first time i told them where to go and put the phone down on them. The second time was a few days later, i answered the phone to some lad talking to someone in the same office then when i said Hello he asked for me by surname however he did nt say Mr Smith he just asked for Smith which i thought was really rude, again asked me about a pension review, i told him this was the second time this week and informed the young lad that i have now registered with the TPS website, he s
