My mother had a text from this number stating that their had been fraudulent activity, she had apparently spent ?40,00 in Argos this morning which she hadn t. Someone rang from that number claiming to be from Natwest but my mum was sceptical so she rung off and called me. I looked up a real number for Natwest (0800 011 3312) which she rang. Fraud SPAM SCAM SCAMMER - They fake the number then say they're calling from O2 to give a 40% discount for getting a good customer because I pay my bills on time, but couldn't tell me my name, when the bills are, wouldn't accept any other form of ID. I believe this to be a nuisance call, My advise to others is If you have a answer machine leave a outgoing message to incoming callers saying that if this is a telemarketer or any unknown caller ringing, that this call is classed as harassment and an invasion of your privacy and that you will ignore their call". I monitor all my calls and if I don t recognize the number I just let the answer machine takeover, they never leave a message and since I have been doing this my unwanted calls have started to cease
This number called me at 1220 today. Foreign caller, probably Asian, ask for my wife. When I asked who was calling he demanded to know why he should tell me & became foul mouthed before hanging up.
