A dangerous fraud / scam call pretending to be from the UK HMRC. Automated American woman's voice telling me legal proceedings are underway against me and I need to press 1 to speak to an officer. For many reasons, that's not how HMRC would operate.

Asian male ... from Virgin Media ...said my broaband was not working properly. I hung up. Worryingly this scammer is purporting to be phoning from close to my own area so the number looks genuine.

SCAM Rude guy called my Irish mobile number. Knew my forename. Wouldn't say where he was calling from. When I asked where he'd gotten the number from, he said I'd "opted in to receive calls from the company", which was bullshit. Selling some sort of finance/crypto scam.
