Threating with court etc .Dad only deals with known companies and we have put a block on his card for tele payments . best thing if they keep on say send me a letter with details ( which they wont ) or as I did say yeah yaeh and put the phone down . pathetic sad little people that they are.
SCAM It claims that the call is from Amazon that I have purchased iPhone for certain price and then if I have not purchased should press 1. Then may be they are trying to steal your data. So stupid Amazon never calls people for purchases even if you buy £1000s of pounds items. They dont care all their products are from their customers with guaranteed insurance and return policy. This is a very silly fraudulent scam. Please block the number before even they call u, one headache less. I blocked them for ever.

Domestic & General. Called two days in a row and asked for Mrs Wattson. That's not me. Potentially trying to sell household appliance insurance.
This number called twice yesterday and once today. Being invited each time to leave a message on my answering machine there were no messages left. On ringing it I (eventually) got a message that the Voice Mail box was full (probably people like myself trying to find out what they were up to). Almost certainly scam or spam - unusual in not using a spoofed number...

SCAM - Tried to convince me that they were calling on behalf of a government debt consolidation scheme. When I said I wanted to check the validity of the company, they tried to convince me that they were genuine. I pointed out to them that any genuine company would be fine for their customers to do due diligence and that the fact they were trying to stop me doing that just screamed scam. They hung up on me.
