scammers passing themselves as HM revenue, claiming you did not pay your taxes
Fraud American accent, pre-recorded message saying it was HMRC and there was a problem with my tax record. Told me that in order to avoid jail I needed to sort this out immediately and had to press 1 to be put through to an advisor. Potentially very threatening for anyone who didn’t recognise it as a scam. Google search reveals that if I had pressed 1 my call might have been rerouted to a different country and I could have faced hefty phone charges.

This mobile number rang me today 16th may 23 then when I called it back the number came back unrecognised. Either a one way number ie one that can call you but you can’t call them back. Or possibly suspicious caller. Can’t use any headings above as I don’t know anything about this number yet.

This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). Received text “Hey, long time no see, what have you been up to?” Likely some sort of scam, replying to them doesn't cost anything, however their way of speaking seems to be non-English native.

There have been a few today - getting fed up with these scammers ringing constantly. They must be getting very strapped for cash to keep trying to defraud 'unsuspecting' people!! Automated phone call scam pretending to be the HMRC.
Phone number who tried to get information about me and my house via a survey without explaining the purpose of it. They dropped the call as soon as I told them I didn't know who they were because I am a foreigner and had never heard of them.

Caller from this number claimed to be from EE network which was unbelievable due to thos callers total lack of professionalism and dreadful attitude. Obviously yet just another tedious no hoper trying to scam the vulnerable with all the brinkmanship, skill and dexterity of a toddler with a plastic sword. If this is the level our scammers are currently operating at, then we genuinely have very little to fear.
