This number called my mobile, phone rang 3 or 4 times, when I answered they hung up. I think they might be confirming if numbers are live.

I couldn t understand much of what they were trying to say, on the 3 calls. Line with lots of cuts, so I didn t felt much comfortable with the call looking as some sort of scheme.

Rang me twice today, and on previous occasions, I think. The moment I pick up, it s like the caller chose *that* moment to hang up, but that happens too often, with this and other numbers, to be a coincidence.

It would seem that there are that many scam numbers that the good ones unfortunately are getting tarred with the same brush. Lovely peoplewho helped me sort out compensation for industrial deafness.

Said they were calling from Amazon. I don t think Amazon call people like this out of the blue. Told them I thought it was a scam and they hung up.

Answered the phone . Heard background noises so hit call blocker button.Don t know how but it then rang on our extension phone. I ran downstairs and again no response. I hit the call blocker unit and successful came up. I am also on TPS scheme but the call blocker has been a Godsend as this is the only call that got through this month so recommend Call blockers which block International, 200 built in known blocks and all with held numbers.What a nuisance these people are.

They ring at least 3 times a day regarding ppi. Pressing 5 DOES NOT remove you from their list. Nor does pressing 9 and speaking to the knobber who answers because as soon as you try to explain that you don t want them to keep calling they hang up on you. Reporting them now every single time they harrass me.

Caller asked for me by name, when I said it was who they were asking for they hung up.

London number (fails to connect on call back) Indian voice asking to speak to Mr ......, told me I had a serious issues with my PC. When I asked him for the identity of the PC and its serial number so I could identify which of the 200 PCs at my location was the issue he blathered a bit and then when I asked him which of the Police Constables he wished to speak to he hung up. Been called by 0113 419 9990 numerous times over the past 3 days. I answered the call today to be told it s about my pension - and they could see its frozen. The lady was called Becky (thats if they use their real names) who wanted details of my pension, which I wouldnt give, she tried to convince me there was nothing wrong but I said how did know who she was, I said I would leave it and deal with it myself - she hung up!! So much for trying to convince me she was genuine. These scams are really getting out
