Received text from 07413284805 saying "...records indicate you may be entitled to ?3750 for mis-sold insurance" and to text back or call this 0844 number. I ve never taken the insurance - its a scam. I wonder if there is an automated way to respond to their text and overload it... Just a thought.

Called by an Asian gent who eventually answered me (suspicious already) said he was a technician calling from some company or other (couldn t resolve company name) and said I had something wrong with my computer updates. SCAM / SPAM It was an automated phone call saying it was HMRC that there was a warrant out for my arrest for tax evasion and I had to press 1 to talk to someone, otherwise I would be arrested immediately. Total scam, Google HMRC automated call and the top result is that it is a confirmed scam and you should end the call immediately.

Apparently carphone warehouse from someone selling your data to them. Make a point of asking to speak with their legal dept, they won't pass you through but they'll remove you from the calling list pretty quickly.
