I was called this morning by a lady saying that she is from the pension office. She asked whether I had private pensions and whether it would be possible that somebody would see me face to face to go through my private pensions. I asked her to write me an email, however she said they would not work like this. By this time I thanked her and said good bye. Not serious at all! Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.

SCAM It claims that the call is from Amazon that I have purchased iPhone for certain price and then if I have not purchased should press 1. Then may be they are trying to steal your data. So stupid Amazon never calls people for purchases even if you buy £1000s of pounds items. They dont care all their products are from their customers with guaranteed insurance and return policy. This is a very silly fraudulent scam. Please block the number before even they call u, one headache less. I blocked them for ever.
