sick of these morons, i blocked their number now i get voice mails every day from them

Previously had an account with them, despite having my account close I still persistently get calls about re opening

Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.

Time wasters when I pick up the phone they just ring of What is the point of these people. When I try and ring back the number comes up incorrect phone number. Who are they and what do they want rang twice today Grrrrrrr!!!

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. Received an unsolicited call on my mobile. Called back from landline. PPI services. Of no particular interest to me, so I just hung up.

Insurance scam say they are affiliate of know company. Told them I didn't want any and thanked them for their interest in me. They were still chundering on when I hung up.

All the calls from "TalkTalk", "BT", "Openreach", "Microsoft" ,etc., are SCAMS. Don’t talk to these people!

Answered the phone and upon saying "hello" the caller hung up. I have now blocked the number.

From the other comments, o gather this is Christians Against Poverty which is a charity I support. Not sure why they called me but I know they re trustworthy :)

Woman phoned asking if I was Miss (my girlfriend s name) I m not the butchest of guys but I don t sound like a woman.... Very heavily accented Indian accent, also appalling sound quality with lots of noise in the background. When I asked who it was from, she mumbled something about PPI at which point I put the phone down.

Stay Clear of them, they are a RIGHT HASSLE, if you have to deal with them, try and record the conversation, and TELL them you are recording THEM.. Ask for their transcript in writing after any conversation.

I was getting calls daily from 01782401123 which I ignored. Research showed it was Advantis a know Telephone pest. They are now trying new tactics with thier new number 08448241820. If I have a debt, which I dont, then write to me, oh i forgot you cant because I dont answer the phone and give you any details. Advantis you can do one will be reporting this number as I have done with the other to ICO and Ofcom.
