Got a text saying I'd missed a call from this number two minutes before. My phone hadn't rung, so I tried pressing reply to the text to see if it had come via EE, and ...

It's a Ford Car Servicing Dept number, I bought a focus from them 12 months ago and they are ringing me to book it in for its 12 month service.

I have had two calls from this number did not answer but checked bank accounts anyway. These calls should be stopped.

Missed call, phoned back and an automated message said it doesn t take incoming calls. Nothing comes up on Google.

I m not sure why people are saying the are scammers pretending to be EE, the number is on their actual site as one of their direct partner numbers. However I still would not recommend picking up as EE broadband has terrible service. My advice is head for the hills and don t look back.
