The old "your computer has been hacked, we can fix it" scam.

I had a email apparently from Meta (Facebook) to say this number (07956836341) had been added to my Facebook account and with a link to report this if it wasn’t me who added the number. The date on the email was wrong (Friday 6th June 2023 doesn’t exist). The link asked for my FB password so I didn’t continue. I checked my FB security details and no number had been added. It looks as though this is a scam to try to access FB passwords.

SCAM I believe A woman, sounding Indian, pretending to be from BT OpenReach about my internet quality We don't buy our internet from BT I suspect this was one of those "we have discovered traffic on your line caused by viruses and need to log in to your computer to fix it" scam calls. The call didn't get that far though. She hung up, probably realised that I knew what I was talking about.

Received a scam call from this number leaving a voicemail: £700 from Amazon and 2nd charge 2000 pound through international money transfer website. We believe this is to be a suspicious and unauthorized transfer that you have never been done before in the past from your card. SCAM A chap (English) using this number rang to try to sell me a Medical Safety Pendant. Wouldn't say how he got my number but asked if I was over 50. When I asked if the call was the result of 'random' dialling, he ended the call. Quite possibly a scam!

A man with a very strong Indian accent said his name was James, called from this number saying he was from 3 mobile. He said it was regarding an "upgradetion" He didn't ask me to confirm even my name, but asked how much I was paying for my monthly contract. I told him if he was really from 3, he would already have access to that information, he didn't want to talk any more, and hung up on me. Definitely a SCAM!

SCAM ? I'd suggest as this number has been looked up 74 times in 2 days on this website then that makes it look dodgy to me.
