I called the number after missing the call and received an automated message from the Housing Disrepair Team. I blocked the number.
SCAM - calls to take card payments for advertising space that has never been taken do not pay them - offer 10% discount to pay today but there is no product? cannot send an invoice and when questioned he becomes rather angry and agitated said his name was James, very strong northern accent and we live down south on the coast so wouldn't be advertising near him anyway!

It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. Ring for a long time before hanging up. Didn’t leave a message. I never answer any call from an unidentified number. If they’re genuine they can leave a message and I’ll call back.
Call received on 7/10/22 at 1.22pm. Computerised voice, saying that it was from the inland revenue.
Unknown to me therefore I treat as a scam.

Appeared plausible and had some detailed info on my account transactions, however, when calling the number on back of my card, they said they had no record of a call from RBS. Got a call claiming to be a person from my college...a college I have not attended for more than a year at this point, their accent didn't seem English at all and I could barely hear them, I have yet to have a call back from it since the call got dropped.

Person of asian origin said he was from Currys, asked does he mean the electronic retailer no reply given he then went in to retirick regards mobile networks, blocked the number as I have had quite a few of these type of calls over the last couple of months.

Constantly calling my mobile. I have blocked the number three times now but still manages to call to my phone with the same number? Answered twice and it disconnected instantly and when you call it back, the line tells you that this isn't an actual number, it's 'unrecognised'!
