Raj called and said it was about the accident I had last year, said I d filled in a form asking for a callback. (I haven t). I asked him to remove my number. Very aggressive. Told me there d be a charge to remove my number from their database(!) and when I told him there would be no such charge, he said unless I give one good reason his 500 colleagues will continue to call until I cooperate. I told him that the reason was OFCOM and the response was What s what? Laughable.
Only know the number because I was randomly charged ?99.99 !! Which is the first random I ve ever encountered while Internet /phone shopping I did receive a random info booklet on holidays a few months / lots of weeks before anyway this number was attached to the payment from my account the only thing I can suggest is to report the company to whomever and to contact your bank stating that a fraudulent company has your card details if you do recieve a catalog from them. If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from.
