SCAM I am assuming this is a scam number because1) its an unknown number from London, where I am not expecting any calls (I'm in Scotland), 2) I'm harrassed daily with scam calls, mostly from London. 3) the vm this number left was electronic music notes for 30 sec and then disconnect.

unhelpful, rude, annoying, unsolicited calls to number(s) already registered with TPS (I ve escalated a formal complaint via TPS). When I returned the call, I too got the answering machine "this number can t take incoming calls" so called them on 0800 069 9303. they confirmed that they re Debt Masters Direct but wouldn t tell me how they got my number or why they were ringing me. Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.
