They just called me this afternoon which I ignored but found info on other sites so I phoned them and have confirmed who they are. The company is called Mark Group . They are a company that specialise in cavity wall insulation and solar panels. They are based in Ashford, Kent. They did some insulation work for me just under a year ago, very quick & very good, but not sure on the "cold calling" front.
Poor quality automated call, claiming that a purchase of over £1000 was made from my Amazon account. An obvious scam.

When told was not interested the women just hung up. 1471 gave me the number so I rang back, got the say woman, told her how rude she had been and my number to be taken from their list. Since we all know that this is a big scam designed to rip off unsuspecting people, I fail to see why the police cant shut these people down - or better still why they cant administer a ?500.00 fine to the number, which they would have to pay to their service provider.
