Cold call. Informed caller that my number is registered on TPS service to avoid such calls. Caller refused to believe and said would phone back later even though I instructed them not to. Number obtained via 1471 system. Same caller phoned back 11 minutes later. AN ABSOLUTE NUISANCE. COMPLAINT LODGED WITH TELEPHONE PREFERENCE SERVICE.

SCAM / SPAM this phone number was used to make a fraud call using wins voice. They claimed to be from visa . Saying card was used for £300 transaction . When number called back man answered .claimed mistake . Police fraud and bank informed .

Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. Was obviously working through a phone book since they asked for the ex village hall secretary by name - the number had been listed as a personal number in error. Our number is registered with telephone preference service to stop wasting our time and money
They took me for 3K and said they will tell my wife if I called them again. Complete scam do not pay them or call them they will promise you work but nothing happens, just keep cancelling and asking for more money which was willing to give but stopped believing them. What a delightful girl! Called up asking for a Director who isn t based in our office or who ever comes here. I asked what database she was using. I train sales people so know the job can be tricky at the best of times. I then politely and jovially said "Go on then, Who are you an what you trying to sell?" To which she replied "Perfect. F**k off!" and hung up. I hope she has a properous career in telesales and her unpleasant experience of hurling me abuse for no apparent reason hasn t put her off her
