Fraud - called from a field near the River Calder off the A59 saying a stop had been put on my tax code due to criminal activity and to press 1 to talk with an officer (pre recorded message)

Answered the phone . Heard background noises so hit call blocker button.Don t know how but it then rang on our extension phone. I ran downstairs and again no response. I hit the call blocker unit and successful came up. I am also on TPS scheme but the call blocker has been a Godsend as this is the only call that got through this month so recommend Call blockers which block International, 200 built in known blocks and all with held numbers.What a nuisance these people are.

Claimed to be from some charity representing Noah’s Ark charity. Started going through the script about Covid, strange times, struggling for funds etc. Before he got the point where he asked me for a donation, I told him that If I wanted to donate to a charity of my choice, I would do it myself. I would not be doing it over the phone to a complete stranger claiming to from a charity. Probably a scam.

I left this comment on the Voxbone SA Scam Number function, which is apart of their website. Number seems to possibly be a missed call scam of a 0845 number. Used to use Utility Wise, didn t realise my contracts were coming up until i got inundated with calls from brokers and suppliers. After getting a couple of quotes which weren t appealing at all, i decided to have a look online in which i found some much better prices. online. However, Kish was able to grab me an even better deal on the first call without giving him any rates. i ve since been using him for a while as our company deals in property management, those pennies really do add up to thousands.
I have been called three times today from this number - the caller claims to be calling from Amazon and asking me to respond by tapping numbers. I have not taken any action as I believe this to be a scam.
