Where is this call coming from?
I received a call from this number with an automated message saying that this was regarding some important information about my account. They didn t even specify what kind of account nor did they ever identify the company they were calling from. Seems to me like they want to get people to react out of panic because of the word "account". I didn t return any calls or anything, so they kept pestering me and now they are blocked. Scam trying to get money using a dead persons name and telephone number , heavy Indian accent didn’t sound professional but a week ago this same person rang about timeshare compensation , both times he asked for my husband by name , this time it was a debt my husband supposedly owed , B shit , but blocked both numbers and going to report to action fraud .
Keep getting calls and spoof texts, they claim to be Scottish Power but they are not. They tell me my number is linked o a SP account but I rang SP from their website number and they have advised me there is no account with my number. I cannot make them stop so having to change my number. It been happening for months but I ignored them until it ramped up to daily.
