Scam call claiming to be from a bank, had an automated message at first then asks to press a number, we pressed 2 just to see what they had to say, an Asian voice started to speak, when asked who this was he put the phone down!! BEWARE! THIS NUMBER IS A SCAM!!
Had 3 calls so far today, 1 in morning 2 afternoon, all hang up after I pick up, regardless of wait time. No one knows my landline either, so don’t know how it’s being called unless it’s malicious. They call me. No audio. Terminated (not by me) within 1 or 2 seconds. I rang back. No ring, no answer, immediately terminateed (not by me) The only possible reason for this nuisance call is to check my number is active, which the operator does not need to do, no one else has a valid reason to. Any legitamate reason to verify a phone number would include verification of the recipient, and that's unlikely because of fraud.

They pretended that i had mistakenly signed up for 'their' yearly subscription and stated i they were due to take 79.99 out of my account today if i did not cancel immediately.
