I answered the call, dead silence for a minute. I ended the call without speaking to anyone.
This number called just before 7.00pm saying I owed approx £86 for Amazon. When I redialled the number it said not recognised.

This was a call centre clearly form India. I did not entertain the call.
Fraud This number was used to attempt a PayPal "fake payment invoice" scam/fraud. My customer received a fake PayPal receipt for Bitcoin and the "support" number they gave prompted multiple callbacks from this number. They will "refund" a bigger amount than the invoice says, then plead with you to get the overpayment back. Once they have your cash, the original "refund" vanishes from your account. Be warned!!

Absolute scam. Claimed to be from OpenReach told me they would switch the internet off for 72 hours as our IP address was public and it was a GDPR issue. When I told them to make our IP address private as they actually own the internet, they told me they couldn't. I had to run a software on my laptop to do it. Literally do not do anything they say!

A robocall which suggested that I’ve been sent many letters by HMRC and am about to be prosecuted. None of it is true so it must be a scam!
0203 4554638 - this number has called me several times over the last week. She said she was calling from Curry's and "wanted to give me a 30% discount on your account" - clearly a scammer - I hung up - these people should be taken down!
TAXES / HMRC Automated call Fraud Scam I had this number ring me an auto message started about 9seconds in and saying its from HMRC then it cut out mid sentence. I rang back the number a good couple of times and keeps telling me phone is switched off. Not sure if its a scam/fraud
Definitely a scam, tried to inquire about something to do with housing and when I explained this was a work number, became very rude and argumentative. Background noise was like a call centre, with lots of people talking.

SCAM called offering for my business to be featured in a publication which will highlighting legitimate local businesses and rogue traders (hopefully I fall into the former). Asked if I'd like to be featured as their "(my profession) of the year" for a fee, when I questioned it they hung up. Initially claimed to be from a crime monitoring unit, which was odd since they called from a mobile number.

Asian gentleman called saying he is from BT open reach suggesting I have a problem with my internet as they are seeing errors from it. He demanded I install team viewer quick support app on my iPad to takeover my iPad remotely to resolve the issue. I received an automated voice call from this number, telling me that they were from my Internet provider and my Internet services will be disconnected due to illegal use. They requested me to "press 1 to speak to an advisor" but I hung up. I then returned the call from my landline and received an automated reply telling me that nobody was available to take my call.
