Someone with very poor grasp of english, call centre in the background. Said they were called Global Business Solutions, asking to speak to someone who hadn t lived at the address my phone number is listed at, for two years and who definitely doesn t need a debt reduction company as they have no debts that need reducing. Clearly using a very old cold-calling list that someone has sold them.

The man said he was calling from the Telephone Preference Company and tried to convince me he was a genuine caller.
Pretending to be from Rosendale's Bailiff, trying to get me to transfer money, or will send some one round, abusive and rude, totally a scam... Feels sorry for the people they will con. Insha Allah they will get there just deserves in this world if they are lucky, if not in the next world.

SCAM. Got a call from this number saying it was from hmrc and asked me to follow the instructions. If i hung up then i would be made to pay a penalty fine. I hung up straight away hoping for a penalty fine. Really intimidating.

SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. This is a call from Snappr.crom (photography services). Annoying as I didn't allow them to contact me via phone, but I did give email a couple days ago, so it's not obviously a scam call.

This number is used by an Oven-Cleaning service - I tried to use them a couple of years ago but they would never come when I wanted them to. After getting my money back from the bank I told them that I did not want their services any more. Since then I have received literally hundreds of calls, all saying that they would like to confirm a time and date for their visit - I have asked them to stop but they are relentless. I have also blocked various numbers, at least 20 but they still call.

very obnoxious man when i said i was not interested and to remove me from calling lists. he was quite nasty telling me i had subscribed and it was a criminal offence to subscribe and then complain about them.! i have not knowingly subscribed to anything, they buy number lists off companies
They ask to get into your computer, convincing you you have people hacking your PC. Afterwards they give you a link to buy a product of theirs. So do not do that!!!
