SCAM Financial investment company that they claim I had asked to be contacted by. However they do not know my actual given name nor do they know my full name. I asked if instead of using the random name I publicly go by if they could confirm my full name and other details but could not. I’ve had several of these “investment companies” calling and fishing for details recently. All have the same “spiel” and follow the same script to their calls, with only the company name having any variations.
It claimed to be from Amazon, saying a large purchase had been made on my account. Press 1 for information. I put the phone down. On checking my Amazon account, all the purchases were correct. This was a scam

Fraud - message purporting to be from my bank
This is the 2nd call i got in as many days. Its a young girls voice telling me they have been informed i was in a traffic accident. The penny dropped on the 2nd call that it s a very clever RECORDING of a girl!!! This is a first for me and I am 100% sure it wasn t a real person but it does sound convincing. The long pauses and style of speaking gave it away. BLOCK THIS NUMBER.

I received a call from this number with an automated message saying that this was regarding some important information about my account. They didn t even specify what kind of account nor did they ever identify the company they were calling from. Seems to me like they want to get people to react out of panic because of the word "account". I didn t return any calls or anything, so they kept pestering me and now they are blocked. Claims he is calling from a company called Assist Co, government backed, claiming that he can make me "debt free". When I asked how didn t he know that I may already be debt free, he said this is why he was calling! Told him I wasn t interested and added this number to my rejected calls list. Asked his where he got my details from, just kept on repeating that he was government backed. Cannot find any info relating to Assist Co on Google

I’ve had several calls from this number, he says his name is Chris and he is a local energy supplier, if it’s a Bournemouth number that definitely is not local, I’ve told him I’m not interested in what he has to say or sell but he still keeps calling and harassing me, I’ve just hung up this time, this number is a scam and they legally shouldn’t be able to get away with harassing people especially in their own homes.
