Is PPI, but I had requested contact via a website - so fully legitimate. Missed the call, but the caller left a fully audible voice mail with a contact number and message explaining what the call was in relation to.

I know it's Manchester located but don't know it belongs to.

If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. I say trustworthy - but only because they weren t obviously trying to do anything malicious. They were ringing to confirm if our company were still interested in a new Credit Card Terminal. non english accented man called Jack (or Kevin, or Peter)says he is from my internet provider. Asked how my internet is running and I said perfectly he thanks me and hangs up - three calls in two days, not all have had such a polite reply from me.
