This number called me to say that my number has been used in a serious number of crimes and my national insurance number will be suspended if I don’t press 1 to talk to someone. This isn’t real as the police would ring me directly or turn up at my house, not use an automated voice message to tell me. I hung up instead of pressing 1.
Complete waste of my time, this number calls me 4 or 5 times a day. Recorded message. I ignore them now. What can I do??
I let the phone ring. When it finished I called 1471 and got the number 08001114612.As with others, I got no answer when I called the number back.
I received a phone call on my landline from a female caller, Asian accent, purporting to be from Google. The caller asked if I had received the warning messages they had sent to my computer. I was informed that these were not emailed messages but were in my computer and that if I was in front of my computer the caller would show me where to find them. I then attempted to terminate the call the caller said that if you chose to ignore this call you will be deregistered from Google. I terminated the call.

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. Following up a comment that this number might be Friends of the Earth, I emailed FoE and was told the number is a fund-raising agency called Listen, used by FoE. At my request FoE has deleted my number. I suggest that anyone who keeps getting calls from this number also contacts FoE via the Contact Us form on the website, to ask for their phone details to be removed so no more calls are received.
