Called about personal injury claim for an accident involved in several years before. Very insistent did not listen to I'm not interested so just had to hang up in the end.

When I asked him for the identity of the PC and its serial number so I could identify which of the 200 PCs at my location was the issue he blathered a bit and then when I asked him which of the Police Constables he wished to speak to he hung up. it came up as an international number but appears to be from Lochgilphead in Scotland. I did not speak and the line went dead.

Spoke to my father, said she was from a company that blocks his nuisance calls. He has no such service? (Is there even one other than BT called protect?) I suspect she was a scammer as we have had similar spiels from callers in the past one of which was desperately trying to get Dad to "confirm" his bank details.
