They said they were from Virgin Media and were warning that the connections were being slow but I found the caller very difficult to understand so I will verify with Virgin direct
Woman phoned asking if I was Miss (my girlfriend s name) I m not the butchest of guys but I don t sound like a woman.... Very heavily accented Indian accent, also appalling sound quality with lots of noise in the background. When I asked who it was from, she mumbled something about PPI at which point I put the phone down.
Multiple calls to my mobile number. Voicemail left with a text-to-speech rendition of my name, apparently representing HBOS banking group, and a recorded message urging me to call 08081450695.

Claimed to be from some sort of housing association saying that i logged a claimed that my house has mold and damp in it. told him i own my house and logged no complaint, then call ended.
SCAM / SPAM Number called me saying a federal case was being mounted against me? I pressed 1 to continue and had a woman with Indian accent on the phone with clearly a cal centre in the background. She asked how she could help me to which I replied, "I don't know, you called me!" Then she hung up on me.

I received a call this afternoon from David from London Police Station informing me that fraudulent transcations are taking place in my account (approx. ?3100) and it would be best for me to relocate my funds into safe keepings. Does this sound strange to anyone else? I said righto mate, "I expect that you will take care of it for me then." - Not a believer.

This number rang my 84 year old mother and told her that her boiler warranty is about to run out (her boiler is very old and as far as she knows she s never had a warranty on it.) They persuaded her to sign up for a new warranty and she gave her bank card details. I m going to take her to the bank tomorrow to find out how much they took from her card. Keep getting 3 or 4 calls a day from this number. When answered caller hangs up. Bloody annoying.
Missed calls/nuisance calls from this number. Rang at 1.00a.m. on 19.07.21 (one ring only) which disturbed and concerned me in the middle of the night. Rang twice tonight, first time it was a missed call, the caller didn't even allow the phone to ring the second time, less than one second.

Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. Know my forename. Stated the call was about an accident I had reported, (news to me). When I stated I hadn t she said OK and hung up.
Scam. Claiming to be from Microsoft about hackers accessing computer and installing dangerous software on it. Have your name and address (easily available from phone book) to add 'authenticity'. Had fun winding them up as obviously a scam. They just want access to your computer so don't engage with them.
