Have received a couple of calls missed from this number which is unknown to me and unsolicited No message left
Number kept calling for 3 days until they finally got hold of me. Caller had a strong accent and call centre noise in the background. Says I've won a competition; total nonsense. Call terminated, number blocked.

Automated call Purporting to be Barclays Bank reporting unusual spending on my account. Securely checked my account which has no such transactions.
SCAM Indian woman pretending to be BT saying that there were multiple unknown IP addresses connected to our internet. Tried to get me to go into the terminal of my computer and started inserting ridiculous stuff. As soon as I asked BT to email me officially and we take it from there, she went silent and hung up.

Man with Asian accent said he was calling from Virgin Media about my internet connection. He said they were having some problems which are affecting my internet connection but the call then disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never once phoned me when there's been problems in the past. I'm not sure if this number is a scam or not because my card had stopped working the day before, but would always recommend if you need to contact the bank then google what their phone number is and ring that one, NOT the number a message asks you to call (for coop bank it should be 0345 721 2212)
