Automated call from "Barclays" NOT !!! This is one of those scams which ask you to press 9 (and get charged a FORTUNE ) Why do OFCOM not disconnect these criminals ?

The person knew my name and address BUT the wrong postcode - it was way off! As I said it was the wrong postcode they asked me for mine which I refused to give and told them as they had the wrong information I was not the person they needed.

They text you and pretend you have missed a parcel (no information is given about the parcel.) then ask for postcode (any postcode you enter always comes up with same page about try to delivery today at 11:23.) the asks for personal data name address birth date and then ask for a small fee for redelivery and ask for bank card and bank account details.

SCAM / SPAM Recorded message saying it's the HMRC that there is a fraud case in my name I have to press 1 now. Obviously I didn't I hung up and blocked the number guessing if you press 1 it will charge you ridiculous amounts of money or will try scam you into giving more details either way I wasn't willing to find out if you get a call from this number or a similar message from a different number just hang up and block.

Received three calls in a row from this number, from two women and one man. All claimed to be calling from Liebermann in the Netherlands. Ask to speak to me using only my first name. Claimed to be from some charity representing Noah’s Ark charity. Started going through the script about Covid, strange times, struggling for funds etc. Before he got the point where he asked me for a donation, I told him that If I wanted to donate to a charity of my choice, I would do it myself. I would not be doing it over the phone to a complete stranger claiming to from a charity. Probably a scam.
