This number called me this morning 10.02 am. What appeared to be recorded message told me that they were speaking from Visa and my card had been used to place an £800 bet in the USA, if this wasn't me press a button on the phone. I hung-up without responding and have confirmed this was not true, another scam.

Definitely a scam, someone called using a VOIP program, could hear the tell-tale audio noise as well as the delayed relayed connection. Claimed to be from O2 offering a 50% discount on my monthly call plan, let him get so far into his spiel until he said he was going to send me two codes. Red flag behaviour; never give anyone your text-acquired code, it is to hijack your online account.

Call center fed up with this number calling so I answered. Says they were from triage Housing about cavity wall insulation that we had and they can get us compensation. Automated message supposedly 'Bank Security' regarding two recent payments made by card....1 to Amazon for £300 and the 2nd an International payment of £1000+. The usual crap is then given re pressing 1 or 2 depending on how you want to proceed. Complete load of rubbish. I get regular calls from a variety of numbers all exactly the same. They want shooting! Bloody nuisance.
SPAM A very quick internet browse told me that this was a spam call and so it proved. Don't even know what it was they were trying to sell, offer, advertise or what but the caller didn't even sound sure of what he wanted to tell me! Just told them where to go.

Absolute scam. Claimed to be from OpenReach told me they would switch the internet off for 72 hours as our IP address was public and it was a GDPR issue. When I told them to make our IP address private as they actually own the internet, they told me they couldn't. I had to run a software on my laptop to do it. Literally do not do anything they say!
Asian gentleman called saying he is from BT open reach suggesting I have a problem with my internet as they are seeing errors from it. He demanded I install team viewer quick support app on my iPad to takeover my iPad remotely to resolve the issue. Of course I said no and stopped the conversation … clearly a scam as BT would never ask for this …
