Broken English, calling about my non-existent car accident in the past three years. Hung up, blocked number, resisted throwing my phone across room

I had a few missed calls from this number and Googled it as I didn t recognise it. I found lots of comments saying it was a fundraising company asking for more money for the RSPCA which I give directly to. I used the number which a couple of people provided to have my number taken off the list which is an automated service. It takes seconds, asks you to key in your number, confirms it and then says your number will be removed within 1 day. You don t have to speak to anyone at all - cold callers or customer

The phone rang and I answered it only to discover it was someone supposed to be representing Amazon to say something about a charge of over £300, but I haven t bought anyth...

Man with Indian accent. Said his name was Jerry. Called me Mrs [first initial of my oh s first name + his surname] which anyone can look up in the phonebook. Asked me if I was this person. I didn t tell him. Said he was from the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). I just pressed the red button.

accident claims scammers; this number appears with a host of other 0114 and 0113 numbers all owned by Fuse 2 Communications Ltd - as the registered owner, they can take action to stop this calls but have been very reluctant to do so; really disappointing.

Twice now, Eric (yeah right - Indian accent) says he's from Norton - has my e-mail address and tries to get me to confirm my name. Have I noticed my computer slowing down? ...

Usual nonsense about an accident, surely no one believes this garbage anymore.
